Peter describes the challenge of applying hide glue to the rib edges, neck block and joining surfaces before clamping everything together. The neck is back on centre, with its angle and projection checked.
With that stage complete, the remaining work includes a new bridge, sound post, tailpiece and strings, along with adjustments to the nut. It is a milestone in a repair that still has several careful steps ahead.
